Starry Quilt Binding 2 1/2” (1 1/4 inch Double Fold)

Quilt binding made from 6 width-of-fabric strips cut 2 1/2” wide and then folded and ironed in half, which makes it 1 1/4" double fold binding. This is made from Andover Libs Elliott fabrics.

Approximate length of binding roll is 252 inches, which will accommodate a lap size quilt (about 60x60").

The fabrics are cut straight across the width of fabric (crosswise grain) and not the bias. The strips are joined together on the bias and seams ironed open to reduce bulk when attaching the binding to your quilt. This is ideal for quilt binding with straight edges. The come rolled in an oval shape to reduce creases and is ready to be sewn immediately.
